On a cold, unassuming day of January last year, a boy and a girl connected on Match. Unknowingly, a spark was lit. That spark got attention from Cupid who was preparing for his usual rush in February. As they started talking about this and that, Cupid thought maybe it’s time for these two and gave a little push with his bow and arrow. After conversing a lot, they decided to meet up and share a meal with their favorite dessert of cheesecake.

On Sunday, the 4th of February, the boy showed up on time with flowers while the girl was already waiting at the table. She waved with the cutest smile on her face, and he instantly went from nervous to excited – all while still trying to maintain his calm. The girl was happy to receive flowers and gave him some points in her mind. As they discussed their meal habits, their food likings and all other things in the world, their dinner date went pretty typically. As the two decided to do a post meal walk around the mall, the boy asked if they could hold hands. To his surprise, the girl was happy to and he scored one more point. As the date was ending, she curiously asked if there was going to be a second date. He immediately said yes, and the Sunday dates have been going on ever since, holding hands every time.

Cupid worked hard every Sunday. One day, his arrow finally landed and as the couple celebrated through all their ups and downs, they realized and confessed how much they adore, love, and respect each other. As time passed by and their love grew stronger, they decided “He/She is the one”. They got engaged on another beautiful Sunday a little over a year after that very first date, on the 9th of February.
